Coverage and factors associated with receipt of early newborn postnatal care components in Afghanistan: findings from the 2022-2023 multiple indicator cluster survey.

This multicountry qualitative study included diverse multisectoral stakeholders across seven countries with high tuberculosis (TB), TB/HIV or drug-resistant TB burden, allowing comparison of pooled testing across different health system contexts. Data collection and analysis were guided by established conceptual frameworks of feasibility and acceptability, providing a structured and transparent analytical approach. Use of both key informant interviews and focus group discussions enabled triangulation of perspectives across policy, laboratory, clinical and people with lived experiences.
