As a limitation, the study cannot establish a causal relationship between the uptake of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination and the associated factors due to its reliance on cross-sectional data. Information about HPV vaccination was gathered through self-reports from respondents, which could lead to potential social desirability bias and subsequent over-reporting.
