People living with HIV (PLHIV) are at increased risk of developing non-communicable diseases (NCDs) due to ageing, chronic HIV infection, long-term antiretroviral therapy and shared behavioural risk factors. However, evidence on the national burden and determinants of HIV–NCD comorbidities in Tanzania remains limited, particularly using recent nationally representative data. Supports integrated HIV and NCD care by providing nationally representative evidence on the burden and determinants of HIV–NCD comorbidities in Tanzania. Provides evidence to support integration of HIV and NCD services within routine care, particularly for early screening and management of comorbidities among PLHIV in Tanzania.
