Abstract
Antipsychotic medications are the mainstay of schizophrenia treatment and have been linked to both reduced psychiatric relapse and increased physical health risks. However, most evidence on their long-term impact on mortality comes from Western populations, with limited real-world data from China or other non-Western settings.
