Among those most acutely affected are the dedicated medical providers who have been at the front-lines of this global health crisis []. Pandemics and other critical events can affect people’s emotional and physical health at several levels of society, including patients, families, and medical professionals.This pandemic has exacted a profound physical toll on healthcare workers, who have faced an unprecedented surge in patient numbers, grueling work hours, and a heightened risk of exposure to the virus. Their resilience in the face of these challenges has been nothing short of heroic [–]. In addition to the physical toll, medical providers have also confronted a barrage of chemical and environmental hazards []. personal protective equipment (PPE) shortages, particularly in the early stages of the pandemic, exposed healthcare workers to increased risks of infection []. Moreover, the constant use of disinfectants and sanitizers, while essential for infection control, has raised concerns about long-term chemical exposure and its potential health consequences.
