Abstract

Indigenous community members in Northwest Territories showed a generally positive attitude towards COVID-19 vaccination. Hesitancy came from fears about side effects, questions about how well vaccines work, and confusion as recommendations changed. Trust shaped decisions: past harms reduced confidence; information from nurses and trusted local leaders helped.
