Abstract

A feasibility design is used to confirm the practicality of conducting a future large-scale multicentre confirmatory trial. The study employs a double-blind randomised controlled design to reduce assessment bias in pain-related outcomes. The study includes comprehensive and patient-centred outcome assessments, incorporating both physician-reported and patient-reported measures such as the Patient-Reported Outcomes version of the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events and a personalised pain goal.
