Abstract

This scoping review was collaboratively designed by qualitative scientists, researchers familiar with health coaching, a research librarian with expertise in literature reviews and an economist, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to examining the field’s understanding of cost analyses, as related to health and wellness coaching. This review was limited by the exclusion of articles not printed in English and not published in peer-reviewed journals. This scoping review used a comprehensive definition of health coaching, in line with the standards currently used in the field, allowing for a comprehensive examination of peer-reviewed literature related to the implications and cost outcomes of health coaching.
