Abstract
WORKWELL wasn’t effective or cost-effective in the NHS, though wider societal benefits remain unmeasured. At 36 months, most participants in both groups remained in paid work, with no significant differences between the intervention and control arms. Future approaches to supporting work participation in people with inflammatory arthritis should explore more flexible, scalable delivery models, including digital self-help tools.
