Abstract
The incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) of breast cancer are continuously rising, making it one of the leading health burdens for women worldwide. It imposes a significant burden on both individuals and society. Meanwhile, therapeutic strategies for breast cancer have been continuously evolving, including systemic therapies (chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, targeted therapy) and local treatments (radiotherapy, surgery, radiofrequency ablation). These advancements have significantly extended the effective survival period for breast cancer patients. However, various complications arising from the cancer itself and its treatments, such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia, severely impair patients’ quality of life, becoming a major challenge for breast cancer patients. : Data are presented as mean±SD for continuous variables, and n (%) for categorical variables. Between-group comparisons were performed using the independent-samples t-test for age, and the chi-square test for categorical variables. A two-sided p < 0.05 was considered statistically significant; Data were presented as number of cases (n). The chi-square test was used for comparison of breast cancer subtype between groups. The Mann-Whitney U test was used for comparison of medication dosage between groups. Two-sided p < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
