Abstract

As we write this editorial, we find ourselves reflecting not only on the journey of the (JMH) but also on the many individuals whose vision, dedication, and perseverance shaped it into what it is today. It is an honor to take on the responsibility of guiding a journal that has steadily grown into an important academic and clinical voice for midlife health in India. The story of JMH began in 2010 with the inaugural editorial, “Midlife Health: A Mission,” by Khandelwal.[] At that time, menopause and midlife health were still evolving as focused areas of academic discussion in India. The journal emerged from a collective aspiration of leaders such as Dr. Rama Vaidya, Dr. Urvashi P. Jha, and Dr. Rashmi Shah, who recognized the need for a dedicated scientific platform addressing the health concerns of midlife women.
