Assistant Teaching Professor - Psychology

REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Psychology or closely related field by date of appointment
- Commitment to high-quality undergraduate teaching
- Ability to support students from a variety of backgrounds
- Previous undergraduate teaching experience preferred

TEACHING NEEDS:
- Introductory level: biopsychology, psychopathology, social psychology
- Service courses: research methods and statistics
- Opportunity to teach advanced courses in area of expertise
- Possible contribution to new combined Bachelor/Master program

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach courses primarily in undergraduate curriculum
- Undergraduate student advising
- Meaningful service to Department and University
- Curriculum development

NOTE: Research and scholarly activity are not required aspects of this position.
