Assistant Teaching Professor - Psychology (Counseling Psychology)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate degree (Master or Doctoral level) in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counselor Education, or closely related discipline
- Licensed or license-eligible as LPC or Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania preferred
- Candidates expecting to complete degree by August 2027 will be reviewed
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship)
- Must reside in MD, ME, NJ, NC, PA, or VA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach four graduate-level courses in fall and spring semesters
- Combination of synchronous online, in-person, and asynchronous instruction
- Evening course offerings
- Teach foundational and advanced courses: Social and Cultural Foundations of Practice, Group Therapy, Psychopathology, Lifespan Development, Trauma-Informed Practices
- Advise graduate students
- Contribute to departmental and institutional service
- Support program admissions and accreditation activities
- Ongoing professional development and professional organization membership

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (MCP) Program. Prepares highly skilled mental health practitioners who integrate evidence-based practices and multicultural competencies.

ABOUT THE COLLEGE:
Private, residential liberal arts college with approximately 2,000 students. 13:1 student-to-faculty ratio. Located in south-central Pennsylvania, short drive to Lancaster, Hershey, and Harrisburg.
