Mental Health Counselor

REQUIREMENTS:
- Intermediate or Bachelor degree
- Experience in social work, counseling, or mental health settings preferred
- Basic understanding of mental health concepts and community dynamics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary settings
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Compassionate, empathetic, community-focused approach

NOTE: Female candidates preferred. SINA will provide 7 days training in Mental Health Counselling. After successful completion, candidate will be posted at a SINA clinic as Mental Health Counselor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide basic mental health counseling, support, and guidance to community members
- Conduct initial mental health assessments and identify individuals requiring further support
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions and mental health awareness activities
- Make appropriate referrals and follow-ups for individuals requiring specialized care
- Maintain confidential records and collaborate with healthcare and community teams
